Ministry Description

Extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist are commissioned by the pastor to assist with the distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and to carry Holy Communion to the homebound.  You must a confirmed Catholic and 18 years of age or older.  Extraordinary ministers must participate in a refresher training.  New extraordinary ministers receive an orientation and participate in training with experienced extraordinary ministers before commissioning.
